Bought it one month ago and works; somewhat noisy, but does not operate that often. Very tight for a 24" opening - I think this 24" unit may be wider (closer to 24") than most

We purchased this wine refrigerator for our recently built home. What a disappointment, especially compared to the two GE wine coolers we had at our previous home, which we had to leave, because the new owners wanted them. First, the Whirlpool does not have full extension drawers. Therefore, you cannot see what bottles you have in the back row, without pulling the front row bottles out of the cooler. Second, many chardonnay bottles will not even fit on the rack. Never had that problem with the GE cooler. Third, you have to make absolutely sure you have the door open all the way, otherwise when you try to pull a rack out, it gets caught on the door gasket, which will eventually tear the gasket. The day we moved in and started putting bottles in, we called the dealer, and told them we wanted to exchange it. Unfortunately, the dealer told us the Whirlpool rep would not allow us to return it, because it was not "defective", was in good working order, etc. We hope to be able to sell it, most likely at a significant loss, and purchase a different brand.

Works well, looks nice. However, the rack spacing is tight. A lot of wine bottles won’t fit, as the outer diameter exceeds the rack spacing.
