After a year and a half it went out

We bought this a year and a half ago and came back from vacation and all food was lost because the compressor failed. We called a call center we couldnt understand l had to contact repairman to qualify for a refund and went 25 days without a refrigerator and lost hundreds in spoiled food. LG paid us what we paid when we bought the refrigerator but we cant replace our refrigerator for the same cost as inflation has added 50

Freezer and Ice Maker - HORRIBLE

Purchased this in 2021 and the freezer has never kept the correct temperature. It is either to warm or so cold that everything freezes over and the ice maker stops working.

This refrigerator is not what we were looking for not what we wanted but purchased because supply issues severely limited our options. It functions properly.

I couldnt give the unit 5 because its NOT total stainless steel as its magnetic. However anymore I think this is the case with appliances Its nice and roomy convenient and so far QUIET This isnt a fancy unit with all the extra stuff = more basic which is what we wanted. One thing nice is it has an automatic ice maker inside the freezer. We chose not to hook up because we dont use a lot of cubes.
