Once we got it, the directions are almost too simple. We plugged it in and put some already frozen bottles of water in it. And then we waited for the over temperature light to go out. 24hrs later, with a thermometer in it and it was 28F. Still over temperature light is on. Reread the directions on how long it takes to be at the right temperature. There is nothing about it. 48 hours later, 17F in it, and over temperature light is still on. Called for help, No one could come out to help for a few days. 72 hours later still over temperature light is on. At 80+ hours later it finally goes out. It should tell you that it will take a few days to get to cold enough for the sensor to go. I would not have worried and called for help, if it just stated that. It has worked great ever since, no issues. Wish it had rails in it for different layers of baskets. I would pay $100 more for it if it had rails. I do not understand why the deep freezer company just put them in.

We needes to upgrade and this is perfect to hold a lot. The way the lid stays in place is great and the light is a great feature. The reason for not giving 5 is wish it came with a divider of some kind to seperate items. Other than that great big freezer
