The "ready" chime needs to be a lot louder. If I'm not standing right there, I can't hear it. Troublesome that the keypad is inside. Runs quiet.

Love everything about this unit EXCEPT: As others have said, vented air isn't totally venting. I would guesstimate 25% of stinky vented air is coming back into the house which totally negates having a kitchen fan. I really can't imagine that's a designed addition to the unit. Our house smells worse after using the fan.. Is there a fix or do I return it?

I bought it year ago. It fit perfectly in our renovated kitchen and worked well until this week. (Out of warranty) when the open button stop working. Yes we can still open the door manually but that's not what we paid for. Now that it's out of warranty (by only a couple of months) we'll have to pay to get it fixed.
