This is a compact washer but holds more clothes than it seems will fit. Clothes come out clean with shorter wash time than other brands. Good instructions especially on drying the seal for the front door, other brands did not include this advice

My machine came with my home purchase and it failed completely 3 months after my 1 year warranty expired. The machine no longer complete cycles and a repair estimates with parts and labor almost the cost 85% of a new unit.

We ordered a Bosch 300 series washer and dryer to replace an old top loader. We went through Appliance Connection which was one of only two outlets that had the Bosch in stock. The order was easy and the washer and dryer were sent from Brooklyn by a trucking firm. Many snags ocurred with delivery (they arrived in a delivery truck at 10:00pm when we had already retired for the night). The outlet included two pedestals, one for the washer and one for the dryer. Both were dryer pedestals and we had to return one to Appliance Connection and then wait for two weeks for the proper pedestal to be delivered. When all was done and the appliances hooked up we couldn't be happier. The washer is very quiet and does an exceptional job of cleaning our clothing. The dryer echos the washer by being also quite gentle and efficient. The efficiency of both will keep our water and electricity bills at a minimum. These smaller machines do not hold as much material as the large front loaders but are certainly sufficient for a family of four. The German quality is evident from the first time we used these machines. Think of them as the BMW or Audi of laundry appliances. Be warned, do not use a normal amount of detergent. You will oversuds the washer and it will automatically add another rinse or two to finish its job. I would recommend the detergent pods. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase.
