For the price I paid for this machine I expected it to be exceptional. It's no better than the average priced dishwasher from a different company it replaced. It is extremely quiet and the third rack is a nice option but the Crystal Dry doesn't dry the dishes any better than any other machine. The bottom two rack setups make loading it clumsy and a bit of a pain. I would not normally spend so much on a dishwasher and wish I didn't on this one.

Coming from a 20 year old Jennair dishwasher this Bosch 800 is an enormous upgrade. It is indeed almost silent. No more waiting until bedtime to run. We can watch TV without adjust volume to hear over the dishwasher. Dishes come out clean and dry consistently. Plastic doesn't dry 100%, but it's better than most other dishwashers I've used.

Love my new Bosch, but had trouble getting it started at first as it is a little more complicated than my model from 2009! The third rack is to die for!
