Maybe it's because I've never had a brand new dishwasher, but I was so very impressed with the first wash. I actually waited until it was loaded to run it for the first time and the glass and plastics came out with very little to no water spots was astounding. I live in Phoenix, AZ so VERY hard water (no softener for me). It was quiet and with the color indicator at the bottom, I have no need to wonder if it's done. I love it. It was a long wait, the first had a broken piece and the wait time for the new one was daunting, but I held out and so very glad I did. I'm over the moon with my new appliance Frigidaire package for the kitchen remodel I just finished.
