I bought this as a treat to myself and I was so happy. Within 6 months, the burners on one side stopped working. So I have to toast the bread on one side, then flip them and toast it again. It's so annoying. I emailed kitchenaid and they just ignored me. I do not have the receipt because I had it for almost 6 months already so I threw the receipt away at some point. So kitchenaid will not help me at all,
