I received this toaster as a birthday present (that I had hinted for!) and I love it! It is not only a beautiful red color to match all of my other KitchenAid appliances, but it offers such great features. It can accommodate 4 slices of toast at once; it can accommodate bagels; it beeps before the toast pops up so you can be ready to grab the warm slices; and it looks great on my counter. Favorite toaster I've ever used!

I love dark (really dark) toast. I find that on select level 1 I have my dark toast and I love the fact that it dings when toast is ready. Bagel setting helps to warm bread for people who do not like the darker toast. I really wish the no. 1 setting was a little lighter for my other family members.
