double oven is great for small baking, keeping food warm or making pizza. Large burner great for 12 quart pot. Warming burn keeps gravy and soups warm

Questionable craftsmanship

I have had this model range for less than a year and one of the knobs has already broken. I’ve been working with the parts department to get a replacement but it has yet to arrive. Hoping to get it before thanksgiving as losing a functioning burner is less than ideal.

This range makes family gatherings so much easier now that I have the ability to bake at two different temperatures at the same time . I am able to get dinner on the table much faster. This is really important during the holidays!

We bought this a month ago and was immediately concerned with how hot the extremities of the stove top got. We were concerned with the temperature of the frame because we have 2 little girls in the house and the smallest one likes to help mommy cook. We did not want her to get burned by the frame. When we tried to return this item to Home Depot, they stated that they would have to send a service technician to check to see if it is faulty. We cannot do an easy return since Home Depot is not a direct seller. They have to coordinate with the manufacturer to determine if it is faulty or damaged. When the technician came out, he indicated to me that Whirlpool (parent company of Kitchenaid) gave a temperature range of up to 170 degrees is acceptable. So basically i am not able to have my youngest one help me anymore for fear of her accidentally touching the frame of the stove top. Lesson learned, I will not purchase any more appliances through Home Depot anymore or anything else for that matter if I can help it. I will definitely go to Lowes or Ace. I have not been to Home Depot since this purchase. Lowes and Costco has a better return policy where customer satisfaction is guaranteed. Thank you.

Love the double oven and rack on rollers!

I love my new oven. So far it’s baked everything I’ve baked evenly. The burners heat up fast. I love the burner that can be multiple sizes. We did a ton of research on freestanding double oven ranges before finally settling on this one. I love that the knobs are at the top and not on the front of the stove. I think the rack with the rollers is a genius idea! My old double oven range did not have this feature and I would always have to ask my husband for help whenever I needed to check heavy dishes to see if they were done. This oven has the roller racks that are much stronger than just a basic rack and can support heavier dishes and foods.
