I love the advantage of being able to prewarm the oven on my way home. it is great to walk in and be ready to bake.

Happy with both oven and microwave. Depth of the microwave makes it a little difficult to reach the back of the unit for cleaning. Microwave programs are not intuitive. Oven is awesome.

Microwave Defrost time to short

I was very disappointed to find the maximum defrost is related to 3#. May times frozen meat products or other items such as frozen contaainers of soup require more defrost time than assigned to 3#. This ultimately causes the user to have to re-start the defrost cycle more than once. Recommend adding a defrost cycle option that allows the user to specify the defrost time or provide a pre-set for something like 25 to 30 minutes.

Magnatron burned out FAST!

We have enjoyed the combination microwave and oven for just under 2 years when the microwave started flashing and sparking while cooking (without metal inserted). We called a Bosch repair center and paid for an 8 minute visit when 2 gentlemen told us that the magnatron was burned out and had damaged the microwave so the whole unit had to be replaced. Now the microwaves are on back order. I have asked for a discount on a new one, but not heard back from Bosch in 2 weeks. It is had to find another appliance that will fit above the wall oven so we are probably stuck putting in another Bosch and crossing our fingers. I expected it to last longer for the high expense. With the delay in getting new ones, I am considering pulling out both appliances and replacing them with a different brand.
