have had the unit for less than a month. satisfied so far. Minor complaints include inability to program the timer function beyond minutes and seconds so I can't use it in a function as a simple hour timer or extended cooking times at low power levels. This is an undercabinet unit, and the undercabinet lights are only on the back of the unit, and not particularly bright over the stovetop when on. I find the volume of the timer alarm is often to low, and I don't recognize or hear it in adjacent rooms where I often reside during timed cooking procedures.

I have had this for about a month, it replaced another KA microwave that died after about 5 years. I really like it so far. Its sturdier that the last one, it has a big metal handle-the last one the plastic handle broke and we had to glue it. I haven't been able to find any information on how to use the metal rack that came with it. I didn't think I could put metal in the microwave.

I love the larger turn table, the lower position of the Microwave above the cooktop and the solidity of the equipment. Great strong handle.

I bought this to replace a 20 year old Kitchen Aid Microwave that the touch pad had worn out. This new one seems to be as great as the one I replaced.

After only almost two years, the door latch started to malfunction. It first started as the door being closed but the microwave did not register it as closed. After a few months of that, the door would not latch at all. I bought it brand new only two years ago and kitchenaid will not do anything for me.
