I'm really kind of disappointed there is no volume control for the beeper. For those of us who are a bit hard of hearing, this is quite unsatisfactory. (I can always use a timer app on my phone, if it is only a timing setting, but if the sound is tied to a function like defrosting ... nope.)

We bought this exact microwave and began using it in January of 2019. In April of 2022 it was dead. Tried several repairs to no avail. I hated to do this, but because it is Slate in color, a built in, and matches the other appliances in our GE set, we were pretty much forced to by the exact same microwave. Bummed. I’m assuming this one will be “disposable” too.
