While it is perfectly working, I’m having trouble understanding why they would design the knobs with a plastic coating. Mine have melted, and look terrible. Very poor construction of the knobs for such an expensive cook top,other then that it is awesome. But don’t put your hot pans anywhere near the knobs, they will melt.

I have always purchase GE Appliances. Love my new 5 burner cook top, I have been saving for 8 years to get all my new GE Appliances, I have been baking up a storm with the new GE Oven, It is amazing, Love the Air Fry setting. The racks glide in and out so easy, Digital read out is easy to see. My GE Hood is so quite compared to my old hood and I love how you can dim the lights. My GE 5 Burner Cook Top the knobs are back light when on which is great!

Excellent cooktop. Definitely not a disappointment as I have been waiting years to again have the opportunity to cook with gas. It is carefully designed and has a sleek clean look. It functions exactly as advertised with many helpful features that will assist in making cooking time fun and stress-free. Perfect meals every time.

Love cooking on my new cooktop. Grates are perfect for large pots & my cast iron braiser. Looks very nice on my new quartz countertops. Hope it lasts as long as my old GE Profile cooktop.

So far I'm very pleased with this product. I gave it a four star review because GE had in place an offer that they would help pay if the product, if in fact did not fit the existing opening. That phone number no longer exists and it cost me $$$$ to have the cooktop installed.
